09/11/2026, 11:06Today, 11 September, as part of a working visit to the Talas Region, President Sadyr Zhaparov took part in a ceremony to hand over the keys to 30 modern electric buses for the city of Talas.
The project is being implemented to modernise the public transport system in the city of Talas and to promote environmentally friendly transport.
Charging stations have been delivered to ensure the smooth operation of the electric buses. Special areas have been prepared on the premises of the ‘Talas Avtobeketi’ facility for their installation and parking.
New route maps and timetables are currently being drawn up for passenger transport within the city of Talas, as well as to the neighbouring villages.
The introduction of the new electric buses will improve the quality and accessibility of public transport, enhance transport services for the public and create more comfortable conditions for passengers.
The project will also help to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere, introduce modern technologies and improve energy efficiency.
Overall, the modernisation of the bus fleet will create a more modern and convenient passenger transport system in Talas, meeting the needs of residents and contributing to the improvement of the city’s infrastructure.
