07/21/2025, 15:34Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Sultan Akhmatov held a meeting with representatives of the State Customs Service and foreign economic entities. The meeting discussed customs clearance, import formalities, and previously raised issues.
Akhmatov emphasized that the introduction of a digital platform is aimed at reducing the time required to obtain permits, increasing transparency, and reducing bureaucracy in business interactions with government agencies. The innovations should also simplify procedures for participants in foreign economic activity.
Business representatives once again highlighted the difficulties in obtaining conditional release and at certain stages of customs clearance. Following the meeting, the authorities provided explanations and took up the unresolved issues for consideration within the framework of the current legislation.
