06/25/2025, 11:52Today, June 25, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh adopted a law that will help people control their loans. Previously there were two similar bills, now they were combined into one. The initiators were deputies Daniyar Tolonov, Dastan Bekeshev, Kunduzbek Sulaimanov and others.
The law introduces the possibility of self-banning of loans - a person himself can prohibit taking loans in his name. This can be done through the portal of electronic services or by other means.
Information about the ban will be transferred to credit bureaus, and banks and other financial organizations will be obliged to take it into account and not to issue loans, if there is such a ban.
According to Daniyar Tolonov, the law is needed to protect people from fraudsters who can issue a loan without their consent and to improve the exchange of credit information between banks and bureaus.
