06/01/2025, 16:48Over the past week (May 23-30, 2025), the price of an ounce of gold in Kyrgyzstan fell by 2,645 KGS, from 294,868.5 KGS to 292,223.5 KGS.
The sharpest decline was on May 28, when the price fell by 4,018 KGS compared to the previous day.
On May 29, the market saw a slight rebound, with the buyback price rising by 362.5 KGS, but by May 30, the decline resumed.
At the same time, the selling price of an ounce of gold at the end of the week was 296,606.5 KGS, which is 2,685 KGS lower than on May 23 (when the price was 299,291.5 KGS).
The spread between buying and selling remained at around 4–5 thousand KGS, which is considered standard for the Kyrgyz market, but may deter new buyers when prices fall.
