Producer prices for agricultural produce in Kyrgyzstan rose by 11.7%

In March 2026, producer prices for agricultural produce in Kyrgyzstan rose by 11.7% compared with the same month last year. The most significant price increase was for wheat, which more than tripled in price.

According to the National Statistics Committee, prices for crop products increased by 12.4%, whilst those for livestock products rose by 11.1%.

Among individual product categories, wheat prices saw the most significant increase – rising 3.1-fold. Vegetable prices rose by 10.4 per cent, meat (live weight) by 13.3 per cent, eggs by 13.3 per cent, and milk by 5.1 per cent.

At the same time, potatoes became 5.6% cheaper compared with March 2025.

The producer price index reflects changes in the prices at which agricultural producers sell their produce. The data are for March 2026 compared with the same period last year.
