05/13/2026, 15:32The number of tourist trips by Russian citizens to Kyrgyzstan continues to decline. By the end of 2025, Russians had made 328,000 trips to the republic, compared to 341,000 the previous year.
These figures are based on official Russian statistics on outbound tourism.
The decline has continued for the third consecutive year. While Russians visited Kyrgyzstan approximately 400,000 times in 2022, the figure dropped to 396,000 in 2023, to 341,000 in 2024, and to 328,000 in 2025.
Thus, over three years, tourist traffic from Russia has decreased by 18%.
At the same time, Kyrgyzstan remains a significantly less popular destination for Russians than other countries in the region. For comparison:
At the same time, the reverse flow—trips by Kyrgyz citizens to Russia—is also changing.
According to statistics on inbound tourism to Russia, Kyrgyz citizens made 210,000 trips to the Russian Federation in 2025. This is lower than the figures for 2024, when 267,000 trips were recorded.

Thus, following a sharp increase in 2023, the flow of Kyrgyz tourists to Russia began to decline. At the same time, tourism trends between the two countries are slowing down in tandem.
