Who in Kyrgyzstan saw their wages increase in 2025?

The average nominal accrued salary of employees of enterprises and organisations in Kyrgyzstan at the end of 2025 amounted to 44,419 KGS. This is 18.9% more than a year earlier, when the figure stood at 37,360 KGS, according to data from the National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The most significant increase in wages was recorded in the public administration and defence sector, as well as in social security, at 30.7%. Wages in professional, scientific and technical activities increased by 30%, and in construction by 30.1%. A significant increase was also observed in administrative and support activities, at 28.1%.

In trade and the repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, wages rose by 24.2%, and in the electricity, gas and air conditioning sector, by 25.2%. The lowest growth rates were recorded in education, where wages increased by 5.3%, and in agriculture, where they increased by 20%.

Wage dynamics reflect the expansion of economic activity in a number of industries, primarily in construction, the public sector and professional services, while social sectors continue to show more modest income growth rates.
