According to the draft budget for 2026, the expenses of Kyrgyzstan's television and radio broadcasting companies will amount to 1 billion 670.5 million KGS, which is 164.2 million KGS more than the approved budget for 2025. Of this amount, 1 billion 579.6 million KGS will be allocated from the republican budget, and 90.9 million KGS from special accounts.

The largest increase in funding is planned for the ElTR television and radio company—an increase of 95.1 million KGS, of which 88.3 million will be allocated to the modernization of television equipment, as well as to the payment of utilities and current maintenance.

The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Corporation (NTRK) will receive additional funding of 49.9 million KGS. The funds will be used for the first stage of technical modernization of television and radio broadcasting, payment of utilities, security services, and maintenance of activities. The bulk of the funding, amounting to 1 billion 154 million KGS, will go to the NTRC.

The branch of the interstate television and radio company Mir will receive a budget increase of 16.4 million KGS, including 10.1 million for equipment upgrades.

In addition, revenues from special accounts will increase by 2.7 million KGS, which is associated with the growth of projected revenues.

As noted in the draft budget, most of the funds will be used to pay for the broadcast of television and radio programs, technical upgrades, and improving the quality of state media resources.
