A man in Batken has been fined for exchanging currency without a licence

The Batken branch of the National Bank has fined a Kyrgyz citizen for conducting foreign currency exchange transactions in cash without a licence.

The fine amounted to 17,500 KGS.

A similar incident had previously been recorded in the Issyk-Kul region. On 31 July, the regional office of the National Bank fined a Kyrgyz citizen the same amount — 17,500 KGS — for exchanging foreign currency in cash without a licence.
