Land plots returned to state ownership in Batken region

Land plots with a total area of 1.5 hectares in Batken and 5 hectares in the village of Kyshtut in the Batken district, which had previously been privatized by the head of the Bolot agricultural enterprise, as well as a 2-hectare plot of land located near the Kyzyl-Bel-Avtodorozhny checkpoint, have been returned to the state balance sheet. Bolot, as well as a 2-hectare plot of land located near the Kyzyl-Bel-Avtodorozhny checkpoint. This was reported by the State Committee for National Security.

The report specifies that in 1994-1995, the Bolot farm (established in those years) was allocated agricultural land in the Batken district and the city of Batken, which was subsequently illegally privatized by the head of the farm and partially sold off.

In 1988, the Agropromenergo enterprise was also allocated land plots for agricultural purposes. Then, in 1996, the enterprise was transformed into Batkenaylenergo LLC, after which, from 2009 to 2022, the land was illegally privatized by the director and transformed for commercial use.

During the preliminary investigation, the owners voluntarily transferred land plots with a total area of 8.5 hectares to the state.
