Bus mechanics in Bishkek receive warnings and reprimands

Today, the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the Bishkek City Council conducted another inspection of the sanitary and technical condition of buses belonging to the municipal enterprise ‘Bishkek City Transport’ before the morning routes.

During the inspection, technical malfunctions were found in some buses, which were therefore prohibited from going into service. In addition, some vehicles were ordered to be washed again, as their appearance and cleanliness did not meet the established standards.

For violations of technical condition control and non-compliance with standards when checking stencils, individual mechanics were given warnings, and the mechanic of the column was given a reprimand.

The department urges passengers to keep buses clean, not to leave rubbish and not to eat in the cabin.
