Sidewalk repairs announced in Bishkek – where it will be difficult to walk

A repeat tender has been announced in Bishkek for major repairs to pavements, worth almost 33 million som. The work is planned to take place in two areas of the city simultaneously.

The municipal administration of Bishkek City Council for the Oktyabrsky District has published a tender worth 32,705,639 soms. This concerns the repair of the pavement in the ‘Kyrman’ residential area along Ankara Street and Gorky Street — from Baitik Baatyra to Kara-Darya.

Contractors may submit bids until 29 April, and the work itself will be carried out under contract once the successful bidder has been selected. The tender has been re-advertised – the previous procurement for these sites did not take place or was cancelled.
