03/14/2025, 17:02In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, the heating period will end on 17 March 2025. This decision was made at a meeting of the operational headquarters for the autumn-winter period, the corresponding order was signed by Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev.
This year the heat supply of the city was provided within the framework of reforms in the energy sector. Bishkek CHPP and Bishkekteploset were transferred to the balance of the mayor's office, repairs and modernisation of equipment were carried out. This has improved system reliability and saved significant fuel costs.
Municipal enterprises and departmental boiler houses will start to switch off heating equipment. Also, district administrations will hold events related to the end of the heating season.
