09/16/2025, 17:08Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev held a meeting on the implementation of a strategic infrastructure project — the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan international railway.
As noted, the construction of a temporary power line and access roads has been completed, and work is underway on the construction of production facilities and the preparation of a construction base.
Particular attention was paid to the relocation of utilities (power lines, gas and water pipelines, telephone cables and other networks).
The issues of providing land plots for the construction of the railway and problematic aspects were considered separately. In this regard, the local authorities were given appropriate instructions.
Following the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev instructed to speed up work on the relocation of utilities; to ensure the clearing of the right-of-way for construction; and to complete the provision of land plots necessary for the implementation of the project.
