12/31/2025, 13:16Since October 11, agricultural fairs involving domestic farmers and producers have been held on a regular basis in Bishkek. The fairs take place every Saturday and Sunday.
The main goal of the event is to provide city residents with high-quality food at affordable prices, as well as to support domestic agricultural producers and develop direct sales channels for products without intermediaries.
The fairgrounds are located in different areas of the capital:
The fairs offer a wide range of domestically produced goods: meat and meat products, dairy products, vegetables, fruits, and other essential goods. Sales are carried out directly by farmers and producers, which allows prices to be set below the market average due to the absence of trade markups.
Farmers and agricultural producers are involved in the organization and conduct of the fairs with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture.
