An hourly payment system for municipal parking has been introduced on a trial basis in Bishkek

An hourly payment system has been introduced on a trial basis at the municipal car park located on Victory Square (on the eastern side of Shopokov Street, between the One Group shopping centre and Victory Square).

The municipal car park has a capacity of 95 parking spaces and will operate round the clock.
During the trial period, the following terms of use apply:

  • the first 15 minutes are free of charge;
  • the cost of parking for the first two hours is 50 KGS;
  • a charge of 10 KGS is levied for each subsequent hour.

Following the trial period, an analysis of the system’s effectiveness will be carried out. Based on the results, proposals will be drawn up for further improvements to the organisation of municipal car parks within the city of Bishkek.

The municipal enterprise ‘Urban Road and Transport Infrastructure’ urges drivers to comply with the established rules for using municipal car parks.
