In Bishkek, keys to apartments were handed over to 77 servicemen of the Border Guard Service

Today in the capital, servicemen of the Border Guard Service were handed the keys to new apartments. Within the framework of the housing program “My House” 77 border guards became owners of housing in the residential complex “Muras Ordo” on Malikov Street, 91.

Head of the SCNS Kamchybek Tashiyev emphasized that more than 570 families of border guards have received new apartments over the past five years. This year it is planned to settle 100 more families in Batken and Issyk-Kul oblasts, and by the end of the year - 60 more border guards in Bishkek.

The “My House” program is being actively implemented throughout the country. Border guard servicemen are among its key participants. In addition to housing, the construction of modern military infrastructure continues in Kyrgyzstan. More than 60 facilities for the Border Guard Service have already been completed, and another 30 are under construction.

In June, construction of new troop buildings for the Boroo special forces unit will be completed. This is an important step in strengthening the country's defence capability and bringing the military infrastructure up to international standards, Tashiyev said. These projects are being financed from the national budget.
