In the Chui Region, the misuse of agricultural land has been uncovered. In the Chui Region, the illegal use of agricultural land for a go-kart track instead of arable farming has been uncovered.

During the inspection, it was established that a plot of dryland arable land measuring 0.72 hectares was being used for purposes other than those intended. Instead of agricultural activities, the landowner — a citizen named B.T.Zh. — had set up a ‘Karting-Buggy’ leisure area on the site.

Following the inspection, measures were taken against the owner in accordance with the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Administrative Offences – he was fined. In addition, a mandatory order was issued to return the plot to its intended use.

The supervisory authority warns that if the violations continue, stricter measures will be taken under the Land Code, up to and including the confiscation of the plot.
