Power capacity increased at 10 substations in Chui Region

As part of the reforms being carried out by the Ministry of Energy, special attention is being paid to modernising the network and equipment and increasing the capacity of substations in densely populated areas.

Thus, in 2025, in the Chui region alone, the capacity of 10 substations in areas with high population density and growth in the number of consumers will be increased.

In total, the capacity of 10 substations has been increased by 45,800 kVA, providing the population with high-quality electricity. By the end of the year, the capacity of another 9 substations will be increased.

The work to modernise the equipment and increase capacity is being carried out on the basis of an agreement between the Ministry of Energy and the World Bank.

This work is being carried out in order to successfully get through the upcoming autumn-winter season, provide the residents of the Chui region with a reliable electricity supply and improve the quality of service.
