In the Chui region, 5,100 insulators have been replaced on high-voltage lines

As part of the Ministry of Energy's plans to modernise the industry, 5,100 worn-out insulators have been replaced on high-voltage overhead lines in the Chui region.

Electricians from the high-voltage network service of the Chui Electric Network Enterprise, a branch of OJSC «NESK», replaced 5,100 insulators and carried out major repairs on 227 kilometres of overhead lines as part of repair work for the autumn-winter period of 2025-2026 in the Chui region.

In addition, power engineers carried out technical maintenance on 1,065 kilometres of overhead lines.

This work is being carried out to ensure the successful passage of the upcoming autumn-winter season and to provide consumers with high-quality and uninterrupted electricity.
Electricians from the high-voltage network service of the Chui Electric Network Enterprise maintain 2,593 kilometres of high-voltage power lines from the city of Balykchy to the Kum-Bel Pass in the Panfilov District.
