Four premises were found to be in breach of regulations in the Jayyl District, and the business owners were fined 256,000 KGS

In the Jayyl District of the Chui Region, four premises were identified where activities were being carried out in breach of legal requirements.

The inspections were carried out by the Chui Regional Office of the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control.

Among the premises where breaches were identified were:

  • the ‘Turuk’ tourist centre;
  • a car wash and oil-change facility;
  • a service station that had been converted into a tandyr restaurant;
  • and a pharmacy that had been converted into a teahouse.

According to the department, work was being carried out at these premises without the necessary permits. This constitutes a breach of the requirements of the Law ‘On Urban Planning and Architecture’.

Following the results of inspections carried out on individual traders, orders were issued to rectify the identified breaches.

In addition, administrative fines were imposed on the traders. The total amount of these fines was 256,000 KGS.
