12/31/2024, 18:00Minister of Energy of Kyrgyzstan Taalaibek Ibraev took part in the opening of three new facilities of Jalal-Abad Power Grid, a branch of Kyrgyzstan UET. Prime Minister Akylbek Zhaparov gave a start to their commissioning. The new facilities will help improve the quality of power supply and strengthen the infrastructure of the region.
In Aksy district, Uch-Korgon village received a new building of Kyzyl-Zhar branch of Tash-Kumyr electric network. The old 1980s building was replaced with a modern one built by Shirin-Group for 4,060 million soms. The renovated branch will serve 30,000 consumers in comfortable conditions.
Two more facilities were built in Suzak district. The new building of Kyzyl-Tuu branch replaced rented premises, providing comfortable conditions for employees and residents of 10 served villages. Also, a 35/10 kV S. Duisheev substation was commissioned in Zhany-Dyikan village, which will improve power supply to five settlements in the district. Installation of the transformer cost 8.4 million soms.
The Minister of Energy congratulated his colleagues on the successful completion of works and wished good luck in passing the fall-winter period. All facilities were built at the expense of Kyrgyzstan UET JSC.
