Agreements on e-commerce and the admission of brokers to stock exchanges have been signed within the EAEU

Following the latest meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, a number of documents relating to trade, financial markets, competition and scientific cooperation were signed.

In particular, an agreement on the electronic trade in goods within the Eurasian Economic Union was concluded.

Another agreement provides for the admission of brokers and dealers from one EAEU member state to participate in organised trading on the exchanges of other member states of the Union.

An agreement on the mutual recognition of academic qualifications in EAEU member states was also signed.

In addition, documents were approved following the monitoring of competition in cross-border markets and the regulatory impact assessment of decisions by the Eurasian Economic Commission.

A separate order set out the time and venue for the next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
