Bank Employees in Issyk-Kul Region Introduced to Guarantee Provision Mechanism

As part of his working visit to Issyk-Kul region, Kamchybek Aaliev, Head of the Regional Relations Department of Guarantee Fund OJSC, held a series of meetings with heads of branches of partner banks and organised training seminars for employees.

These events were held in the cities of Balykchy and Karakol, as well as in the districts of Ton, Ak-Sui, Tyup and Jeti-Oguz. The seminars were attended by heads of banking departments from several banks in Issyk-Kul region, such as Aiyl Bank OJSC, Eldik Bank OJSC, Keremet Bank OJSC, Commercial Bank of Kyrgyzstan OJSC, Bakai Bank OJSC, Bank of Asia CJSC and Demir Kyrgyz International Bank CJSC.

At the seminars, the employees familiarised themselves with the mechanism of providing guarantees for business entities. They discussed issues of interaction and improvement of partnership relations. JSC ‘Guarantee Fund’ currently cooperates with 25 partners, including 18 commercial banks, three microfinance organisations, three international funds and the Entrepreneurship Development Fund.

In total, there are more than 320 branches of GF's partner organisations in the Republic. The activities of the Guarantee Fund OJSC are aimed at supporting entrepreneurship in the regions by providing access to finance when the collateral base is insufficient. In addition, the Fund's employees provide consultations on the preparation of business projects. Branches of the Guarantee Fund operate in all regions of the country, which allows it to effectively support local entrepreneurs.
