New fire and rescue stations are being built in the Issyk-Kul Region

Construction of new buildings for the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ fire and rescue stations is continuing in the Issyk-Kul Region. In Ak-Suu, construction of Fire and Rescue Station No. 39 is nearing completion, with the project now approximately 97 per cent complete. The unit is scheduled to be commissioned in the near future.

At the same time, construction is continuing on the new Fire and Rescue Station No. 33 in the village of Ananyevo. It will replace the existing building, which was built back in 1959. To date, the main concrete works at the site have been completed.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the new facilities are being built as part of the development of the country’s fire and rescue infrastructure. A total of 17 Ministry of Emergency Situations facilities are currently under construction simultaneously across various regions of Kyrgyzstan.

The ministry notes that bringing the new buildings into service will improve working conditions for staff and enhance the speed of response to emergencies.
