In Kyrgyzstan, more than 20,000 businesses keep their accounts in accordance with the IFRS for SMEs

As at the end of 2025, there were 30,133 enterprises and organisations in Kyrgyzstan. The majority of these — 20,306 — maintain their accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for small and medium-sized enterprises.

According to data from the National Statistics Committee, a further 7,070 enterprises apply the full International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), 963 use the cash basis of accounting, and 1,794 operate under simplified rules.

In the manufacturing sector, there are 2,661 enterprises. Of these, 1,273 maintain accounts in accordance with IFRS for SMEs, 1,178 apply full IFRS, 92 use the cash basis method and 118 follow simplified rules.
