Kyrgyzstan wants to launch a digital system of feedback on the work of state bodies and LSGs

Kyrgyzstan may introduce a digital system “Feedback”, designed to identify weaknesses in the work of government agencies and local self-government bodies, as well as to stimulate improvements in the efficiency of government agencies. The Ministry of Digital Development has submitted the relevant draft decree for public discussion, where it will remain until May 2.

The Ministry of Digital Development proposes to introduce a new information system through which citizens will be able to evaluate the work of state bodies by scanning a QR code. A five-point scale, comments, mandatory moderation, and most importantly - open access to the results.

The meaning of the innovation is not only in collecting feedback. The system should become a mirror in which the authorities will see themselves through the eyes of society. If everything goes according to plan, dissatisfaction will no longer be spread across kitchens and social networks, but will lie in a neat database suitable for analytics and management decisions.

Interestingly, despite its digital scope, the project promises to be budget-neutral - no additional expenditures from the republican budget are envisaged.

If the initiative is adopted, the “Feedback” system will become mandatory for all state and municipal structures. Thus, Kyrgyzstan may become one of the few countries in the region where the reputation of civil servants will be measured not only by length of service, but also by the feedback left about them by citizens.
