Kyrgyzstan to begin production of 120 types of medicines

Aidanpharma, a domestic manufacturer, is preparing to launch production of 120 types of tablets and capsules, 20 types of ointments, as well as 10 types of syrups and suspensions.  This was reported by the head of the information policy service of the presidential administration, Daiyrbek Orunbekov, on his Facebook page.

These products include such popular drugs as azithromycin, ambroxol, ibuprofen, omeprazole, acyclovir, diclofenac, captopril, ketoprofen, ketotifen, ursodeoxycholic acid.

In addition, the company plans to produce a wide range of medical products, including sterile and non-sterile bandages, plaster bandages, sterile and non-sterile absorbent cotton, alcohol wipes and other goods needed in medical practice.

Currently, more than 90% of the pharmaceutical market in Kyrgyzstan is occupied by imported products. In this regard, the launch of production of local drugs and medical devices is extremely important to ensure the domestic market and reduce dependence on foreign supplies.

In the future, the company is also considering the possibility of entering the export market, which could significantly contribute to the growth of the country's gross domestic product and strengthen its position in the international arena.
