Discussions were held in Kyrgyzstan on launching asset tokenisation projects involving a Vietnamese company

Farhat Iminov, Head of the National Agency for Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies under the President of Kyrgyzstan, held a meeting with Chan An Tuan, founder of the Vietnamese company ROX Group. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of digital technologies, investment and the tokenisation of real assets.

During the meeting, the head of the agency outlined the objectives of the new state body, established to regulate the virtual assets market and develop the blockchain ecosystem in Kyrgyzstan. Among the priorities cited were attracting investment, introducing innovative technologies and developing international cooperation.

The founder of ROX Group noted that the legislative framework established in Kyrgyzstan creates favourable conditions for the development of the virtual assets market. According to him, the republic’s experience could be useful in developing a similar sector in Vietnam.

The parties also discussed the implementation of ROX Group’s investment projects in Kyrgyzstan in the fields of renewable energy and housing construction.

Following the meeting, Farhat Iminov stated that the company’s projects could contribute to the development of technological cooperation between the countries, including in the area of real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation, whilst investments in renewable energy would help strengthen Kyrgyzstan’s energy potential.

It should be noted that the National Agency for Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies was established under the President of Kyrgyzstan to develop and regulate the country’s digital asset market.
