07/17/2026, 10:22As of July 2026, 651 kilometres of roads in Kyrgyzstan have been fully asphalted. This is 265 kilometres more than during the same period last year. By way of comparison, by July 2025, 386 kilometres of roads had been asphalted in the country.
The increase in the volume of road construction indicates greater efficiency in the work being carried out. The construction of new, high-quality roads helps to improve transport links between regions and ensures safer and more comfortable travel for citizens.
The Ministry of Transport and Communications is continuing work on the construction and repair of roads across the country, whilst also monitoring the progress of these projects.
