Two digital job-search platforms have been launched in Kyrgyzstan — Jumush.gov and Find-ish. These will enable jobseekers to search for current vacancies and employers to post information about available roles.

Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, announced the development of these digital employment services at a staff meeting on socio-economic issues. He noted that the state needs to expand opportunities for citizens to find work.

Jumush.gov and Find-ish are set to become additional channels of communication between employers and jobseekers. These platforms can be used to access information on vacancies and to post job offers. The state portal Find-Ish is also described as a service for finding jobs and staff in both the public and private sectors.

The creation of such platforms is taking place against the backdrop of the ongoing digitalisation of the labour market. Previously, the authorities reported on the development of the Jumush.gov system, including as a tool for managing data in the field of employment and labour relations.

At the same meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers discussed the implementation of the revenue side of the budget and preparations for the indexation of pensions from 1 October. Following the increase, the average pension is set to amount to 12,898 KGS, with an average increase of 1,753 KGS.

In addition, local and state authorities have been instructed to carry out an inventory of Bekkari pits across the regions, assess their sanitary and technical condition, and explore the possibility of applying modern technologies for the disposal of biological waste.
