A new model of national driver's license has been approved in Kyrgyzstan

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a new model of the 2025 national driver's license. The relevant decree was signed by Adylbek Kasymaliyev.

The document contains a description of the new license and its visual model. The new version of the driver's license is being introduced as part of the update of the national identification document system.

According to the decree, 2019 model driver's licenses will be issued until the existing forms are completely used up. After they run out, the new 2025 model documents will begin to be issued.

The state institution “Kyzmat” under the Presidential Administration has been tasked with personalizing the new format of driver's licenses.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to inform foreign states about the upcoming introduction of the new license. This will ensure the recognition of the document outside the country and the correct operation of international information systems.
