They have been joined by the newly established Nogoybay Ata cooperative, which specialises in breeding Auliekol cows. This breed is known for its resistance to cold weather and high meat productivity. In particular, 10-month-old calves weigh more than 500 kilograms, and cows older than two years weigh more than 1 tonne.
Last year, eight new cooperatives were established in the Manas district. Also, in 2025, two breeding farms in the Manas district successfully passed certification. One of them breeds Aberdeen Angus beef cattle, and the other breeds Holstein-Friesian dairy cattle.
The development of breeding cattle farming contributes to an increase in meat and dairy production in the region, growth in farmers' incomes and food security.
