According to the Water Resources Service, 5.5 kilometers of the canal have already been cleaned, and new trays are being installed. In areas where there is a risk of landslides, a 45-meter steel pipe with a diameter of 1 meter will be laid to prevent obstacles to water flow. There are also plans to replace 50 old trays with new LR-60 type trays.
Work on the restoration and modernization of the irrigation system is continuing, which will improve the water supply to agricultural land and increase the efficiency of agriculture in the region.
