The Zhany-Zhol bypass road in Naryn has been closed until 20 June due to the construction of a roundabout

The Zhany-Zhol bypass road in the city of Naryn has been temporarily closed. The closure is due to the construction of a roundabout on the Arka section of the Bishkek–Naryn–Torugart motorway.

The Ministry of Transport has announced a temporary traffic restriction on all types of transport on the Zhany-Zhol bypass road in Naryn.

The restriction has been introduced due to the construction of a roundabout at the 346th kilometre of the Bishkek–Naryn–Torugart motorway in the Arka section. The road will remain closed until 20 June.

The ministry explained that the measure is necessary to ensure safe traffic management and the high-quality execution of construction works.

Drivers are asked to plan their routes in advance, observe road signs and, where possible, use alternative detour routes.

The construction of the roundabout is aimed at improving road safety and transport infrastructure on one of the key sections of the Bishkek–Naryn–Torugart route.
