01/27/2026, 15:22Farmers in Kyrgyzstan sell raw milk with a fat content of 3.4% to processors at a price ranging from 35 to 48 KGS per litre, depending on the region. This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture.
According to the ministry's data, farmers in the Chui region receive between 35 and 47 KGS per litre of milk, in the Talas region between 32 and 41 KGS, and in the Issyk-Kul region the price ranges from 34 to 48 KGS.
The Ministry of Agriculture also reminded that the procedure for setting the price of raw milk is regulated by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 2 December 2024. It regulates the procedure for setting the price of raw milk. At the same time, the base price is determined specifically for milk with a fat content of 3.4%.
