11/20/2025, 10:15The Land and Water Supervision Service conducted joint monitoring of fish farms in the Talas region and identified serious violations. The inspection showed that fish were being farmed using drainage water, which is strictly prohibited by law. Contracts concluded with the aiyl okmotu were declared invalid, as drainage systems are exclusively state property.
In addition, cases were identified of fertile soil being removed from pasture land leased without transformation. Official warnings were issued to the lessees.
Earlier, the regional administration estimated the damage at 122,673.6 KGS. The materials have already been transferred to the Bakai-Ata District Prosecutor's Office, and the measures provided for by law are being taken in relation to six farms.
