In the Toguz-Toro district, ASKUE meters have been installed for 3,071 subscribers

To digitise the energy sector and ensure accuracy in the use of electrical energy, the Toguz-Toro District Electric Company (RET), part of the Naryn Electric Grid Company, a subsidiary of the National Electric Grids of Kyrgyzstan, is implementing an automated electricity monitoring and metering system (ASKUE).

The project plans to connect a total of 4,800 subscribers in the Toguz-Toro district to the ASKUE system. To date, 3,071 subscribers have already received modern ‘smart’ meters. Installation work is continuing and covers the remaining settlements in the district.

The introduction of the ASKUE system is an important step in modernising the country's energy sector and improving the quality of service to consumers. This system allows real-time monitoring of electricity consumption, reduces losses and ensures accurate electricity billing.
