02/06/2026, 15:21A ceremony was held in the village of Toru-Aigyr in the Issyk-Kul region to mark the opening of a clean water supply system.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Bakyt Torobaev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Issyk-Kul Region Bakytbek Zhetigenov, Head of Issyk-Kul Regional State Administration Zaparbek Ormonov, representatives of local communities, the Council of Elders, and employees of relevant agencies.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Bakyt Torobaev noted that providing the population with clean drinking water is one of the priorities of state policy and directly affects people's health and the sustainable development of rural areas.
Bakytbek Zhetigenov emphasized that the implementation of this project will significantly improve the social infrastructure of the region and the quality of life of rural residents.
District Head Ormonov noted that the launch of the water supply system was the solution to one of the most pressing problems in the village and expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to the implementation of the project.
On behalf of the village residents, the chairman of the council of elders expressed gratitude to the state for its care and noted the importance of clean water for future generations.
The project “Reconstruction of the water supply system in the village of Toru-Aigyr (LOT-1)” was implemented at a cost of 62 million 80 thousand 254 soms. The facility has been officially put into operation.
The commissioning of the new system has provided the residents of the village of Toru-Aigyr with stable access to high-quality and safe drinking water.
