In three districts of Bishkek, 560 land amnesty applications were reviewed over two days

On September 22–23, the land amnesty commissions in Bishkek’s Leninsky, Pervomaisky, and Sverdlovsky districts reviewed a total of 560 applications from citizens. Work to formalize rights to plots and properties covered by the land amnesty continues.

The largest number of applications was reviewed in the Leninsky District. At the September 22 meeting, the commission reviewed 248 applications. On the same day, another 194 applications were reviewed in the Pervomaisky District.

On September 23, a meeting was held in the Sverdlovsky District, where the commission reviewed 118 applications.

Following the meetings, decisions were made on the applications in accordance with established procedures. However, city hall has not specified how many applications were approved, rejected, or referred for further review.

The land amnesty allows citizens, subject to certain conditions, to formalize their rights to land plots and structures located on them that were previously used without a complete set of title documents.

The procedure is carried out in accordance with the Law “On the Regulation of Land-Related Legal Relations” and the procedure approved by the Cabinet of Ministers. In 2026, the mechanism was further adjusted as part of the completion of efforts to secure citizens’ property rights.

Previously, “Akchabar” reported that since the start of the land amnesty in Bishkek, the commissions have held approximately 290 meetings and reviewed about 30,000 cases. As of mid-2026, approximately 14,000 applications had been approved.

The commissions’ work continues in all administrative districts of the capital.
