A capsule was laid for the construction of a school in the Ak-Bata residential area

In Bishkek, construction has begun on another school as part of a project to build 20 schools in the capital using the republican budget.

In the Ak-Bata residential area, Mayor Aibek Junushaliyev and Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Minister Nurdan Oruntaev, as well as deputies Zhumabek Salymbekov and Ulukbek Karybek uulu, laid a capsule for the construction of the second building of School No. 43.

In his speech, the mayor noted that every child deserves a quality education and to study in safe and modern conditions.

"As part of the administrative-territorial reform, the territory of our city has expanded and the population has increased. Therefore, the need for schools has also grown. Due to the shortage of places in School No. 43, we decided to build another school nearby. We recently met with residents of the Ak-Zhar housing estate, where the issue of a shortage of schools was raised. However, there were no vacant plots in this housing estate, so the city administration allocated school buses so that children could get to schools located near this housing estate. Now, the newly built school will create good conditions for education not only for children from the Ak-Bata residential area, but also for children from the nearby Ak-Zhar, Adilet, and Nurgozho residential areas", — said the mayor.

Aibek Junushaliyev also added that a project to build a kindergarten in the Ak-Bata residential area is currently in the development stage.

In turn, Minister Nurdan Oruntaev noted that the construction of the school is scheduled to be completed in September 2026.

“I can assure you that all work begun on the construction of schools in the capital and throughout the republic will be under special supervision. In addition, the Saudi Development Fund plans to build 12 schools in the city of Bishkek”, — the minister added.

The school in the Ak-Bata residential area will be a two-story building designed for 650 students, or 22 classrooms. The total area of the facility is 5,257.58 square meters, and the territory is 10,080 square meters.
