Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade fell by 10.2%, exports by almost half in 2025

In Kyrgyzstan, at the end of 2025, the volume of foreign and mutual trade amounted to $15.8 billion. Compared to the same period in 2024, the indicator decreased by 10.2%.

The main decline was due to a reduction in exports, with deliveries abroad falling by 44.5%. Imports, on the other hand, showed an increase of 3.9%.

Against this backdrop, trade within the Eurasian Economic Union appears more stable. The volume of mutual trade between Kyrgyzstan and the countries of the union reached $5.9 billion in 2025, an increase of 7.7% compared to 2024.

Russia remains the key trading partner within the union, accounting for 64.9% of trade turnover, followed by Kazakhstan with a share of 31.5%.
