The National Bank will withdraw 20 billion KGS of excess liquidity

As of 13 February 2026, the total volume of National Bank notes in circulation amounted to 30.5 billion KGS. On 17 February, the regulator will hold another auction for the placement of short-term notes.

An auction for the placement of 7-day notes worth 20 billion KGS is scheduled for 17 February. The issue date is set for 18 February, with redemption on 25 February 2026.

The maximum yield will be 11% of the National Bank's discount rate. According to the data, the bulk of the notes in circulation are 7-day instruments — 20 billion KGS.

Another 6.5 billion KGS are placed in 91-day notes and 4 billion KGS in 182-day notes. There are no volumes for other terms of circulation as of the reporting date.
