Egg Prices Rose by 13.5%: How Prices Changed in Kyrgyzstan in March

In March 2026, consumer prices in Kyrgyzstan rose by 1.3% compared to February. Since the beginning of the year, inflation has stood at 3.3%. This was reported by the National Statistics Committee.

Chicken eggs saw the most significant price increase over the month—up 13.5%. Prices also rose for natural instant coffee and meat—by 3.2%, frozen fish—by 2.1%, pasta—by 1.4%, tea by 1.2%, buckwheat groats by 1.1%, sugar by 1%, flour by 0.4%, and vegetable oil by 0.3%.

At the same time, a number of products became cheaper. For example, bulk milk fell in price by 2.4%, long-grain rice by 1%, mutton fat by 0.9%, flatbread by 0.6%, and fresh chilled fish by 0.3%.

According to statistics from the National Statistics Committee, consumer prices in the country have risen by 3.3% since December 2025.
