South Korea may establish an industrial park in Kyrgyzstan

On 27 September, Deputy Minister of Economy Sanzhar Bolotov met with Korean Deputy Minister of Trade Byun Na Yang in Seoul. They discussed several key issues to strengthen cooperation in such strategic areas as trade, energy, industry and mining. 

One of the important topics of the talks was the possibility of establishing an industrial park in Kyrgyzstan, which, according to the Kyrgyz side, will be an important step in developing the country's industrial potential and attracting Korean investments.

They also discussed the Framework Agreement on Trade and Investment Promotion between Kyrgyzstan and Korea, which is planned to be signed this year. The agreement will open new opportunities for expanding economic ties and bilateral projects.

The parties expressed readiness to continue the dialogue and outlined further steps to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
