09/22/2025, 14:35The State Committee for National Security reported the arrest of the CEO of the contracting organisation G.T.I. LLC on suspicion of corruption.
According to the special services, during an audit of the use of 1 billion KGS allocated for the improvement of parks and the repair of water supply and sewerage systems in the city of Kara-Balta, facts of artificial overstatement of the cost of works and prices for construction and installation works were revealed. The total amount of violations amounted to 27.2 million KGS.
A criminal case has been opened against the head of the company ‘A.N.A.’ on the grounds of a crime under Article 336, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, ‘Corruption.’ He is currently being held in the temporary detention centre of the State Committee for National Security.
The committee noted that work to ensure legality and transparency in the implementation of state projects is continuing.
