The document, issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, allows the plant to provide paid tire recycling services to industrial enterprises, mining, and transportation companies.
The plant can process up to 10,000 tons of tires per year, including large tires from quarry, construction, and agricultural equipment. Tires that cannot be restored are recycled into rubber crumbs, which are used to produce rubber tiles, carpets, and safe coverings for children's and sports playgrounds.
The plant has two workshops: one for tire disposal and one for tire retreading. Retreaded large tires have already been installed on Caterpillar 789C dump trucks and are being tested at the Kumtor mine, demonstrating the effectiveness of the technology.
