05/22/2025, 09:35Kyrgyzstan intends to accelerate the pace of digital transformation. At a meeting between Minister of Digital Development Azamat Zhamangulov and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank, curator of the bank's Digital Initiatives Fund Tigran Sargsyan, three new projects developed with the participation of the EDB's Digital Initiatives Fund were presented.
Priority areas include the construction of an IT park, the creation of primary and backup data centers, and the introduction of a trusted third-party service for commercial organizations.
According to Azamat Zhamangulov, digital technologies are becoming critical for sustainable economic growth, and partnership with the EBRD Digital Initiative plays a key role in implementing these initiatives.
Tigran Sargsyan, for his part, confirmed the Fund's readiness to provide comprehensive support in promoting advanced solutions, drawing on practices already applied in DBAR countries.
The EDB Digital Initiatives Fund was established in June 2020 to assist the bank's participating countries in their digitalization efforts by developing and financing projects aimed at the integration and sustainable development of digital infrastructure.
