Residents of the Ak-Talinsky District will be allocated 3.36 hectares in compensation for land expropriated for the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway

The Cabinet of Ministers has resolved to reclassify 3.36 hectares of land in the Ala-Bugin ayyl aimak of the Ak-Talyn district from agricultural land to land designated for settlements. The plots will be allocated to citizens in lieu of land expropriated for the construction of the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway.

The relevant resolution was signed by the Prime Minister, Adylbek Kasymaliev, on 18 August.

The land in question consists of state-owned pasture land located within plot No. 3470. Following the reclassification, it is planned to transfer these plots to residents as equivalent replacements for the land that has been expropriated. The number of beneficiaries is not specified in the document.

The Ak-Talinsky District State Administration has been instructed to amend the land registry documentation, draw up and approve town planning documents, and ensure the plots are used for their intended purpose.

The infrastructure and life-support systems for the area are to be developed using funds from the local budget, the local community and the plot owners. During construction, environmental, health, earthquake-resistance and other safety requirements must also be complied with.
