03/08/2026, 09:00During the first week of March 2026, the price of a 31.1035 gram gold bar in Kyrgyzstan fluctuated significantly. According to data from the National Bank, the difference between the minimum and maximum repurchase prices for the week was 24,485 KGS.
The gold market in Kyrgyzstan experienced high volatility in early March. On 2 March, the buyback price of gold bullion was 458,828.5 KGS, while the selling price was 465,711 KGS.
On 3 March, prices reached a weekly high of 466,813.5 KGS for repurchase and 473,815.5 KGS for sale.
However, on 4 March, prices fell sharply to 442,328.50 and 448,963.50 KGS, respectively, after which, on 5 March, the value partially recovered to 452,379 KGS for repurchase and 459,164.50 KGS for sale.
The final prices for 6 March are as follows: the buyback price is 448,454 som, and the selling price is 455,180.50 KGS.
Despite short-term spikes, by the end of the week, gold not only failed to consolidate in positive territory, but also became cheaper than on Monday. The gap between the maximum and minimum repurchase prices reached a record 24,485 KGS.
